Chinese carved wood bases are often more elaborate and help convey a message. This base mimics the stones, and together they unite to form a single object in a display.

We exhibited this stone in the 8th Small Stone Exhibition held July 4 & 5th, 2026, in Toyota City, Japan. This is a petrified baby tooth from a juvenile woolly mammoth found in Hokkaido, displayed as a viewing stone.
