Today, DTI joins so many around the world in remembering and celebrating the life of Dolly Parton! An icon whose impact reached far beyond music. 🦋
Dolly was a woman who believed in giving back, lifting others up, and using the blessings she had been given to make a difference in the lives of others. From supporting communities in times of need to being a companion for children and their education, she made generosity a part of her legacy. ✨
One of the most beautiful examples of that legacy is Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which she founded in 1995. Inspired by her father’s inability to read and write, the program began by providing books to children in her home county and has grown into a worldwide program gifting millions of free books to children each month. 📚❤️
