The Central Alabama Arts Alliance thoroughly enjoyed meeting the incredibly artistic Chilton County High School Students, today, at The Gallery On 1st during the Chilton County Artist Meet & Greet - RSVP ‼️ Thanks to their Art Instructor Hollie Colburn, we've had the honor of showing their art during the entire month of April and are looking forward to the CCHS April 2027 Exhibit.
We enjoyed meeting Amber L Skidmore of Serenity Steps Prevention & Recovery LLC and are looking forward to displaying her literary work from the CA3 Studio window. Amber is also a Chilton-Clanton Public Library Toddler Story/Art Time Sponsor, for which we are very grateful.
We thoroughly enjoyed viewing the Inktober sketches of Artist Rachel Palmer Herron and are in discussion to collaborate with her on a few projects in the near future. She is always a joy and we are honored to know her.
It is also a great honor to have FINALLY met Ashley Enoch of Ashley Bond Art . We are super fans, having followed her art since her Best in Show piece titled "The Reporter" displayed at the Shelby County Arts Council in 2022. We are looking forward to collaborating with Ashley on a few projects in the near future, as well.

🇺🇸 CALL TO ARTISTS: America at 250
An Art Exhibition Celebrating 250 Years of American History

The Central Alabama Arts Alliance invites artists of all ages and mediums to submit work for America at 250, a special exhibition to be held at The Gallery On 1st.
In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States, this exhibition seeks to explore, reflect, and interpret the layered story of America, its triumphs, struggles, diversity, and evolving identity.

🎨 THEME: America at 250
Artists are encouraged to interpret this theme broadly. Submissions may explore:
- Historical moments that shaped the nation
- Cultural identity, heritage, and diversity
- Personal or generational stories rooted in American life
Landscapes, industry, and the changing American environment
- Freedom, conflict, progress, and unity
- Visions of America’s future

🖌 ELIGIBILITY
- Open to all artists (emerging and established)
- All visual art mediums accepted (painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, sculpture, fiber, etc.)
- Artwork must be original and created by the submitting artist

📅 IMPORTANT DATES
Submission Deadline: Friday, July 24th
Exhibition Dates: August 1st - October 30th
