🇺🇸 CALL TO ARTISTS: America at 250
An Art Exhibition Celebrating 250 Years of American History
The Central Alabama Arts Alliance invites artists of all ages and mediums to submit work for America at 250, a special exhibition to be held at The Gallery On 1st.
In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States, this exhibition seeks to explore, reflect, and interpret the layered story of America, its triumphs, struggles, diversity, and evolving identity.
🎨 THEME: America at 250
Artists are encouraged to interpret this theme broadly. Submissions may explore:
- Historical moments that shaped the nation
- Cultural identity, heritage, and diversity
- Personal or generational stories rooted in American life
Landscapes, industry, and the changing American environment
- Freedom, conflict, progress, and unity
- Visions of America’s future
🖌 ELIGIBILITY
- Open to all artists (emerging and established)
- All visual art mediums accepted (painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, sculpture, fiber, etc.)
- Artwork must be original and created by the submitting artist
📅 IMPORTANT DATES
Submission Deadline: Friday, July 24th
Exhibition Dates: August 1st - October 30th
