One of our core missions is to make artists and their creations feel a sense of belonging, to find, at Laguna, a place where they can feel that they’re part of something.
Our Artist-in-Residence Program has allowed us to open this space to artists, giving them the opportunity to explore their creativity and transform feelings, memories, and experiences into something tangible through art.
Michelle was our Artist-in-Residence, and she explored her Dominican roots, her California influences, the pain of heartbreak, and so much more through her work.
We’re grateful to Michelle for sharing her story, her perspective, and her beautiful work with us. We can’t wait to see where her artistic journey takes her next.
