Join Placer Theatre Ballet for our FREE Nutcracker in July Community Workshop on Saturday, July 25 at Opal Studios in Roseville.

Whether you’re a returning PTB dancer or thinking about auditioning for the very first time, this fun, interactive workshop is the perfect way to:
🎄 Meet PTB’s new Artistic Directors
🩰 Learn choreography from this year’s production
👑 Preview exciting new costumes
💬 Ask questions during our parent Q&A
✨ Get a behind-the-scenes look at this season’s Nutcracker

Two sessions are available:
🎀 Ages 5–10: 10:30 AM–11:45 AM
🎀 Ages 11+: 11:50 AM–1:00 PM

Parents are welcome to observe and join the Q&A!

After months of rehearsals, hard work, and so many unforgettable memories, Barbie and the Red Shoes takes the stage tomorrow! 💖🩰

This performance is especially meaningful—it’s not only our Summer Show, but also the final performance of Phoenix Dance Institute. We can’t wait to celebrate everything our dancers have accomplished and share one last magical evening together.

To every dancer, family, teacher, volunteer, and friend… thank you for being part of this incredible journey. ❤️

✨ Exciting News! ✨
I am honored to share that I have accepted the position of Assistant Artistic Director with Placer Theatre Ballet. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited for this next chapter alongside Artistic Director Jessica Lawrence and the PTB team.

After many wonderful years of dance, friendship, growth, and community, Phoenix Dance Institute will be closing following our final performance of Barbie and the Red Shoes on July 18, 2026.

We are incredibly proud of everything this studio has been and deeply grateful to every dancer, family, instructor, volunteer, and supporter who has been part of the Phoenix family. The memories we have created together will stay with us forever.

As we celebrate our final season, we invite our alumni, former families, and friends to join us for our final performance as we celebrate the dancers, the memories, and the beautiful community that Phoenix Dance Institute has been.
