From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU all for making the 2026 Summer Season one of the best that CTW has seen! We are so grateful for each and every cast, crew, audience, and supporter that we had this season at Country Theatre Workshop. Theater is alive and well in our communities, and we thank you all for reminding us of that fact this year. Keep an eye on our Facebook and website for more information about our upcoming Fall Fundraiser, and we once again thank you all for your continued support of the arts!

We've got one final character on the Orient Express. Arya Weber is Diasy Armstrong, the little girl to whom this whole plot is central. While we may not ever see her, Arya lends her voice to one of the most important characters in the whole show. Keep an ear out for Arya as "Murder on the Orient Express" continues its run tonight at 7:00, with 2 additional chances to catch it this weekend for our matinee performances at 2:00! It's Opening Night for the second run of "Murder on the Orient Express"! The passengers have their passports, but many come with more baggage than they let on. Take, for instance, our Hungarian Countess. Wendy Shelquist is Countess Elena Andrenyi, the commoner who worked her way through hardship and became royalty. She's quick to assist whoever she can, but surely there's more to her generous outward presence. To the man who makes the trains go! Scott Christensen is Constantine Bouc, the Director of the Company Wagon-Lit, and the administrator aboard the Orient Express. Monsieur Bouc is committed totally to the satisfaction of his passengers, and works tirelessly to ensure each of them has the best trip possible (though he didn't see a murder playing into that!). We had a delightful opening show last night for "Murder on the Orient Express", and we can't wait to see what the rest of the journey holds! Our next character spotlight is quite the character herself! Elyse Bulla is Helen Hubbard, the eccentric, extravagant connoisseur of the Orient Express. She is very outspoken and a bit over-the-top, but she's not without her secrets. The run continues tonight through the rest of this weekend and next, so make sure to grab your tickets while you can!
