Social Push Cincy is excited to announce our fourth annual Poker Push LDP event! ♥️♠️♦️♣️

📅: Saturday, July 18, 2026
🕕: 12-5 p.m.
📍: Nisbet Park & Amphitheater (126 South Karl Brown Way, Loveland, OH 45140)

Come for a 15-mile cruise with us on the Little Miami Scenic Trail, perfect for all wheels & paws! 🛹🛼🚲🛴⚡️🐾

We'll meet at the finish line, from which we'll shuttle to the start. Along the route there will be 5 checkpoints handing out one playing card each; when we return to the finish, whoever has the best poker hand from their 5 cards will be the winner and have first shot at our prize pool. It's not a race, and you can ride as fast or slowly as you'd like 🃏

Even if you don't win the poker hand, you could still take home some loot--your registration online or in person buys you a raffle ticket into the pool and your choice of insulated water bottle or coffee/wine tumbler! 🎟

We'll meet at 12 p.m. at the END (point F) and gather for about a half hour. From there, we'll carpool half the vehicles to the beginning of the run. When the event is over, we'll carpool the other half so that people may retrieve their vehicles 🚗

Click the map legend to view amenities and parking at each checkpoint. If you don't want to skate the full 15 miles or need to leave early, please review the map and plan for personal pickup/rideshare accordingly. We'll only shuttle from point F to point A 🚕

We'll use the buddy system to ensure no one's left behind. There will be "slower" and "faster" group leaders, so everyone has a pack to cruise with 👫

Afterward, we'll enjoy bites & brews and river swimming at nearby Fifty West Brewing Company (7605 Wooster Pike) 🍔🍺🏊‍♀️

Adrian is one of our most longstanding and versatile crew members--whether by street SUP or skateboard, he always arrives with a smile 🛹 and who could forget the time he pulled up to our riverside sunrise skate by paddleboard?! 🛶 He also makes a mean edit, helping to spread the Social Push stoke 🎥

⏳️ How long have you been skating?

Since the skateboard craze in the late '70s.

⚙️ Tell us about your setup.

For longer pushes I'm loving the Loaded Boards Tangent with 105 mm Dad Bod wheels.

❤️ What do you love most about riding?

I love the instant mental reset and energy from skating. After even just a few moments on a board there is peace and clarity of thinking.

🎉 Name a goal you have for yourself related to skating.

I've yet to learn to reliably slide, but it's still a goal! I'd love to learn to ollie too.

💬 Tell us something interesting about yourself.

A couple of years ago I broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to stand up paddleboard the length of the non-tidal River Thames in England (125 miles).

💡 Who/what inspires you?

My Christian faith inspires me to love all people. I read the Bible and pray daily.

🌏 What's your favorite place to ride?

My neighborhood, because it's so accessible whenever I want to skate! The road was repaved a few years ago and it's still beautiful and smooth. My favorite downhill is Ault Park.

🎵 Name a song that motivates you.

I like the anti-apathy message of "White Riot" by the Clash, and "Something for Nothing" by Rush for a similar reason.
