[email protected] The McGing dancers are most proud, however, of their local ties to Cincinnati's hospitals, charities and schools.

The McGing School of Irish Dance, under the direction of its founder Mary McGing Duckworth, has been in existence since 1977. From its humble beginnings with 28 dancers, the school has established a rich history in the city of Cincinnati and is widely recognized around the world. Our dancers have performed in Hollywood for the late great Gene Kelly, danced in the Soviet Union, and toured with the

Cincinnati Pops. The list of local performances goes on and on. Another important part of our dancing is the competing. McGing dancers have a reputation of exuberating grace and power at the same time. These qualities propel them to be champions in Local, Regional, National and World Irish dance competitions.

Six of our dancers had the honor to compete in the Mary Anne Weber Memorial Dance-Off at the recent Queen City Feis 🩷!

A very special shoutout to Deirdre Collins who was crowned the champion with a perfect score 💯 💯 💯!

Mrs. Weber was a proud member of the Irish community here in Cincinnati and a huge supporter of Irish Dancing & Cincinnati Feiseanna 🇮🇪. She was Entry Secretary for our very own Cincinnati Feis for many years, including our very first Feis back in 1984. For over 40 years she was an integral volunteer at the Cincinnati Feis and later the Queen City Feis. We loved being able to honor her incredible legacy by dancing for her ☘️!
