Hey sweet Wards.

I'm sorry to post with more sad news so soon. After a lot of reflection and discussion, we have decided to cancel CUSS on April 10th. With the governor's mandates, new cases by the minute, and massive amount of business closures we thought it would be best to err on the side of caution.

After all, we love doing CUSS, but your health is our number one priority.

So What Does This Mean? A couple of things:

1. You will get your money back! We've been in discussions with CincyTicket and you should be receiving a full refund back on the card you bought your tickets with, ticket fees included. If that doesn't show up by next week, please let me know.

2. We're in talks to see if the guests we would have had this time can come back for future shows so you all don't miss out on the awesomeness we had planned. You just have to wait a little longer.

3. This gives us a chance to make sure our next season of CUSS is even more awesome than we already knew it would be! Now that we have all of this extra time to brainstorm and work from home, Alice and I will be working our butts off to come up with cool new merch, awesome partnerships, and of course cool ass guests for when we see you next. We'll be releasing those dates very soon, so keep your eye out.

4. Just because the show is cancelled doesn't mean the community is. Text your CUSS Wards friends, FaceTime each other and check in. Keep an eye on our Instagram because we'll be sending out all sorts of polls and questions and silly things to keep your spirits up. We'll be updating every day, after all we have so much time now.

Finally: Take precautions, okay? Wash your hands a lot, eat green things, clean your house, practice responsible social distancing. You're great and we care about you 💕

Hello dear CUSS Wards.

I’m sure many of you are aware of the changes happening daily due to COVID-19. This past Sunday Governor DeWine announced that all bars and restaurants would be closing until further notice. Additionally, the team at Maximum Fun has made the decision to postpone MaxFun Week in light of this national emergency. I will include a link to that article below for you to read if you like.

With all these factors, it is with an enormously heavy heart that I tell you that we are cancelling the MaxFun Meetup that was scheduled for next Monday. While Maximum Fun has a tentative date for when the drive will be re-scheduled, we have no way of knowing what position our state will be in at that point, so I cannot guarantee you a firm rescheduled time as of yet. But what I can tell you is that we WILL be rescheduling as soon as is safely possible.

This community is very dear to us, and it breaks our hearts to make announcements like this, but we would never want to encourage any behavior that could endanger our members or anyone else. In this time of social distancing, please take care of yourself and those you love. Wash your hands. Read new books. Donate to performers and bartenders if you can. This is not our new normal and we will get through this.
