We love seeing our art in the community. Thank you Wyoming Community In Action ! 🎨

Last summer, Soul Palette helped us create these gorgeous artworks at Juneteenth. We brightened up the winter by presenting them to our neighboring communities. Be sure to join us this summer to be creative in celebration of Freedom!

Brandon "Illzotic" Hawkins is a Cincinnati-based visual artist and instructor with 20+ years of experience. He holds a BA in African & African American Studies and a Fine Arts certificate from UC. Co-founder of Soul Palette with his wife Ewaniki Moore-Hawkins, Brandon’s led a number of impactful mural projects and arts programs, including a community center mural that earned him the key to Middletown. Brandon mentors youth and serves in arts education across Cincinnati.

What an inspiring and rewarding mural project. Big thanks to ArtsWave Black & Brown Artist Grant, Our Tribe , Woodford Academy and Black Art Speaks for sponsoring and partnering with us on the Out of the Shadows project. Stay tuned for the big reveal in the coming weeks.

Soul Palette is excited to relaunch our youth visual arts program, C.A.N.V.A.S. Mentoring with the generous support of the United Way Black Empowerment Works Grant and P&G Always Confidence Fund. C.A.N.V.A.S. is an acronym for Creative Artists Nurturing Vision & Advancing Skills and we are looking to recruit 12-20 students aged 12-18yrs (7th-12th grades) for the third cohort.

Do your friends and family constantly tell you your artwork is dope? Are you interested in developing your visual artistic expression? Would you like to explore the various genres of visual arts? Would you benefit from the coaching of an artist mentor? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then C.A.N.V.A.S. may be your perfect program.
