I’m popping into Virtual Vogue Knitting Live this Sunday! Vogue Knitting Online

I’ll be hosting a Machine Knitting AMA & Studio Tour at 1 PM Eastern on Sunday, September 27. We’ll take a look around my studio, go through some of my favorite swatches and projects, and talk about all things machine knitting.

This is a free bonus session for anyone registered for Virtual Vogue Knitting Live’s September event, and if you can’t make it live, the recording will be available through October 11.

Hope to see you there!

This workshop was created because the number one thing I hear when I tell new fiber friends that I’m a machine knitter is, “Oh, I’ve had one of those sitting under my bed for years and I’ve never even opened the box!” 😆

It’s completely understandable. Knitting machines can feel intimidating when you don’t know where to start, so I designed this class to help you safely unpack, assess, clean, and understand the machine you already own.

No knitting machine experience is required at all.

🧶 Registration opens Saturday at noon.

If you’re wondering whether your machine is a good fit for the workshop, feel free to comment or send me a DM before registering. I’m happy to help!

I’m so thrilled and grateful that I *finally* made it to my first Pitti Filati tradeshow. I miss gelato and remain over-inspired to knit 😆

I picked up a few vintage knitting machines and I’d love to pass them on locally (Cincinnati, Ohio area)

Available:
• Brother KX350 (mid gauge)
• KnitKing KH910 (standard gauge)
• KnitKing PC Bulky with ribber

These are used machines and will definitely need cleaning. They are also likely missing parts or may need some repair, so this is best suited for someone comfortable with a bit of troubleshooting or interested in learning how these machines work.

I’d especially love for these to go to someone who will use them, learn on them or help keep machine knitting knowledge moving forward.

Here’s how to express interest:
Comment below and share your experience level or what you’d like to make. If you know someone in the Cincinnati are who should have one, feel free to tag them too.

Details:
• Local pickup only, no shipping
• Just these 3 are available
• You must be able to transport it yourself
• Ideal pickup is this Saturday, April 25th at the free monthly Cincinnati Machine Knitting meetup at the Saint Bernard Library

I’ll follow up by DM and plan to choose recipients within 48 hours so we can coordinate pickup.

Hoping these find good homes and get back to making things 🧶
