This little friend crawled up next to me while I was painting some beetles. I’m pretty sure he was auditioning. Took him outside and snapped a few reference pictures. I’ll post the video when it’s done.

Uninvited Guests! My special collection that will be available this year at the art shows we will be attending. The first one we will examine is The American Cockroach. 🪳 watch as I paint this interesting creature. Learn a few fascinating facts to get a little appreciation for something you normally want to avoid. I’m not saying you have to let them move in if they show up uninvited. But, maybe they are interesting enough to deserve a portrait.
