Last year, Cincinnati Music Theatre established a dedicated JEDI Chair and Committee to help ensure our commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) is fully integrated into our culture, operations, and programming.

Today, we’re proud to introduce the incredible volunteers who make up this committee. Their unique perspectives, experiences, and passion for creating a more welcoming community help guide this important work and strengthen CMT for everyone.

The JEDI Committee serves as a bridge between our Board, production teams, cast, crew, and the broader community, helping ensure that JEDI principles are reflected in every aspect of our organization.

At CMT, we believe everyone deserves to feel welcomed, valued, respected, and empowered to belong.

The best day ever? It was definitely up there!

A few cast members of our upcoming production of 🍍THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL🍍 hit the road yesterday to visit our friends at Chillicothe Civic Theatre and catch their production of SpongeBob! We had an absolute blast cheering on a fellow community theatre and soaking up all the Bikini Bottom fun.

Added bonus…our very own Plankton won the raffle! 🏆 (He’s already plotting what to do with his prize.)

A huge thank you to for the warm welcome and a fantastic performance. If you’re nearby, go show them some love at one of their upcoming productions!

Then get ready to make a splash with us this November when The SpongeBob Musical swims into town. We can’t wait to share our version of Bikini Bottom with you! 🌊

Rehearsals are officially underway for 📖ENGLISH LIT📖, CMT’s first Studio Series production of the 2026–2027 season.

Featuring songs from beloved literary classics by means of the Broadway musicals they inspired like The Great Gatsby, Les Misérables, Little Women, and more, this intimate cabaret celebrates the stories that have captivated audiences for generations.

The cast is hard at work, and we can’t wait to share this unique evening of music with you. We hope you’ll join us for the first chapter of another incredible season!
