🎨✨ Announcing our 2026 Artist in Residence: Nikita Gross! ✨🎨
V+V is thrilled to announce that photographer Nikita Gross will be our 2026 Artist in Residence!
Nikita Gross is a photographer exploring the liminal space between what is rooted and what is transcendent. With two decades of experience across traditional and experimental lens-based media, she continually expands the language of photography through process driven experimentation and boundary pushing techniques.
During her residency, Nikita will create a series of photographic images inspired by the studio environment, the artists, and the surrounding community. These photographs will be printed and shared with V+V artists, who will be encouraged to respond freely to the imagery, using their preferred materials and artistic processes. Through this exchange, each photograph will evolve into a collaborative artwork that combines
multiple creative voices within a single piece.
More about the Artist in Residence:
Grounded in mysticism and the sacred feminine, Nikita's practice is an exploration into communion with the divine; an embodied, contemplative approach that informs both subject and method. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including two consecutive years at
Instant Art Paris, and appears in print publications such as She Shoots Film, Polysème Magazine, MAUER, Manifest Gallery’s International Photography Annual 4, and the book Polaroid Now.
Alongside her studio practice, Nikita has built a successful commercial career spanning over a decade, bringing a distinctive visual sensibility to editorial collaborations. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Nikita has worked across the U.S, mentoring artists of all ages to develop an
authentic creative voice and practice.
During her residency, Nikita will use photography to work in tandem with the V+V creative community.
Mark your calendars to see the outcomes at the Artist In Residence Exhibition Opening on Friday, July 17th, 5–8 PM at V+V Northside Studio (3841 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH)
