Whether you’re taking a walk through one of Cincinnati’s beautiful parks or letting your furry friend burn off energy at a dog park, every visitor plays a part in keeping parks safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone by practicing responsible dog etiquette.

Here are just a few simple ways to be a responsible dog owner while also enjoying Cincinnati Parks!

The recent storms have impacted everyone, including Cincinnati Parks, our 85,000 street trees, plus all of the trees in our amazing parks. In fact, we have already received over 300 service requests for fallen trees or branches. Our crews have worked all through the night prioritizing the most urgent situations, like trees on power lines and blocking roads, to help everyone stay safe.

A huge thank you to all of our staff who continue to work long hours on clean-up efforts. We truly appreciate your dedication and hard work.

There are only TWO Fridays left of Riverfront Socials with Skate Downtown Cincy! Join us from 7–10 PM at the Sawyer Point Skate Rink on August 14 & 21!

Riverfront Social skate nights at Sawyer Point give teens and young adults a weekend night of their own to enjoy crafting, chatting, music, skating, snacks, and games in beautiful park setting. Whether you skate or not, there's an activity for everyone. Free. Bring your friends! This is a child-free event for ages 13 & up.

On Point Music Festival is this Friday and Saturday at Sawyer Point!

On Point Music Fest brings together Cincinnati's hottest bands for one unforgettable weekend. Come experience live performances on August 7 & 8! And if that's not your jam, come out for the skate rink, beach volley ball, or pickleball. Plus, browse local vendor booths, grab a bite from food trucks, and enjoy beer available for purchase.

You might have noticed the invasive spotted lanternfly is everywhere in Ohio. Yikes!

But how can you help slow the spread? Our three big recommendations are:
1. Don't be afraid to squish these bugs. Watch out! They jump/fly.
2. From late fall to early spring look out for egg sacks and then scrape them into soapy water.
3. Use hack-and-squirt techniques to remove the invasive tree of heaven from your property.

There is no need to continue to report findings to Cincinnai Parks.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated America's 250th in a Cincinnati Park! Friendly Reminder: As you enjoy one of our 4th of July celebrations in your amazing Cincinnati Parks this weekend, please remember to clean up before leaving. Let’s all keep our shared spaces clean and beautiful for everyone! Have a fun and safe holiday weekend!

Park rules to keep in mind while celebrating:
- It is prohibited to set off fireworks on park board property.
- Throw all trash in trash cans. Please do not litter.
- Do not set up tents, or any set-up that requires staking the ground.
