Sycamore Community Singers

Sycamore Community Singers Community choir based in NE Cincinnati. Sycamore Community Singers is known as (SCS). Directed by Caleb Orr. SCS is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization.

This adult, auditioned, volunteer community choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7p-9p at Sycamore Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati, Oh. The choir sings sacred, classical, secular and pop music from across the ages. We offer collegiate scholarships to students studying music education with an emphasis in choral conducting. We are grateful to our founder, Linda Gartner, who founded SCS in 2016.

Years 5 & 6 2021-2022. We sang with masks, sat apart from one another when we were able to return to singing, and took a European tour to Ireland and Scotland! Vaccinated and still got Covid, but not as sick as we could have been. We were THRILLED to be together AND to travel! Life was feeling more normal.

Year 4 2019-20, an experience of a lifetime! Singing on the stage of Carnegie Hall in NYC! We sang under the direction of Mac Wilberg. Mr. Wilberg conducts the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and their vocal sound is amazing! We were honored to sing with a couple of other choirs to make joyful music before the world shut down for a pandemic.
