I painted this gouache for a little girl named Sofia. Sofia is six months old and has been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, a terminal illness. A new drug developed by Novartis can save her life with just one dose if administered soon. Sofia’s parents have worked tirelessly to raise the necessary money, but are far short of the $2MM+ cost. As a community, we are asking Novartis to accept the money her parents have raised so far and save Sofia’s life. ⁠⠀

I will be donating this painting for Sofia’s cause.

Thanks to my friend , artist and social media extraordinaire, I’ve come to observe that the algorithm is shutting down the exposure of any of my posts containing n**e figure drawings. So, as I’m sharing my work with you, this time it’s also an experiment to observe the response of our digital-big-brother to this self-censured piece.
