We are deeply saddened by the passing of the legendary singer and musician Roberta Flack. She truly held a special place in our hearts and our creative endeavors. As many of you may know, she was the face of our annual Juneteenth and Pride event at called the Free Peoples Party.

The iconic image from her album “Quiet Fire” served as our inspiration for the flyer for this event, capturing the essence of what we strive to celebrate.

Roberta Flack, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible music you created and the lasting inspiration you provided us all. Your legacy will continue to shine brightly in our community, reminding us of the power of art and unity. Thank you for everything. Rest in peace.
