******LONG POST ALERT*******
Now that I’ve had some time to rest, I HAVE to talk about our Earth, Wind & Fire Tribute! We had an absolute blast bringing that vision to life. To everyone who packed out a sold-out show on a Monday night, we hope you had as much fun as we did. Judging by your energy, your smiles, and everyone asking when we’re doing it again, I think it’s safe to say you did!
A massive thank you to Mike Cobb (MD) for your vision, the countless hours you spent putting the setlist together, and the endless text messages... lol. You were 100% invested from day one, not to mention giving Verdine White his proper roses on that bass!
To the band—Brian, Gideon, Crescendo, Bryant (BHam), and Tim (Bishop)—you all came together like a well-oiled machine. You would’ve thought we had been playing this show together for years. You all pushed me to reach vocal heights I didn’t even know were possible for me!
The Just Strange Brothers on horns... man, I don’t even know what to say. You simply cannot do a tribute to EWF without a horn section that can absolutely blow, and y'all DELIVERED! Thank you so much.
To my vocalists—Lynne, Hawc, Pete, and Deana—I love you all. Y'all showed up and showed out in a mighty, mighty way. Just beautiful. Thank you for putting up with me and letting me push you to greatness!
BossLady (Kristie), you are our behind-the-scenes superstar. You do such an incredible job keeping Just Vince and The Fellas informed, organized with rehearsal space, and gainfully booked.
Thank you to Mandie, Scott, and the entire staff at The Redmoor. We love y'all! Your unwavering backing of local music has made The Redmoor one of the absolute best and most sought-after venues to play in Cincinnati.
Finally, to all of our family, friends, and fans: a huge thank you. Without your constant, unwavering support, we would just be gigging in our minds!
WE WILL DO THIS SHOW AGAIN... Stay tuned to find out when! 🙏🏾❤️
