Captivating ✨

My go to activities after a stressful day are running, baking, or calling my sisters. 🍰

My family gave me a bouquet of pickles for my birthday last year!🥒

I'm playing Helga! 🤩

How long have you been part of the Mariemont Players family?
This is my first show with Mariemont Players and I'm so excited to be a part of it. I've been dancing since I was 2 and my first role was as an unnamed orphan in Annie when I was 8. I've been hooked ever since! ❤️

The Emcee is the ultimate host. What is your absolute favorite party trick or go-to recipe when you have guests over?
My go-to recipe when I host is a baked good. I'm known for my chocolate chip cookies! 🍪

My go-to activity to shake off a stressful day is working out. I love going to pilates classes or on walks. 👣

My "Life is Beautiful" photo is from my wedding back in September. It was the best day and I felt so beautiful. 👰

"Mariemont Players is proud to nominate Emily Romano for the 2026 Joel Lind Rising Star Award. Theatre has long been an important part of Emily’s life, and her dedication is evident both within MPI and in her work on productions beyond our organization. This past fall, she volunteered as a member of the running crew for our production of I’ll Be Back Before Midnight, and in the spring, she served as the light and sound board operator for Rabbit Hole. In every role, Emily has demonstrated reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to the success of each production. MPI is thrilled to have Emily as part of our family and looks forward to many future collaborations with her.
