We tried the Hooked cake from the Sweet Spot at Kings Island during Haunt. Salted caramel with a coin on top, and the crew passed it around.

My take: if you get out to the Sweet Spot, try the Hooked cake. If you've been
lately, let me know your favorite!

Korean fried chicken at CM Chicken in Hyde Park,
Cincinnati, with Sarah.

The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and both sauces were
packed with flavor.

An easy Hatz Approved meal, if you ignore the sausage and cheese corn dog!

Took the boys to play foot golf at Waynesville Fall Fest.

We checked out The Schoolhouse Restaurant in Camp Dennison with Ronnie Doe and Sarah.

It really was a schoolhouse back in the 1800s, they've been serving food there since 1962, and yes, Guy Fieri's picture is on the wall from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Dinner comes family style on a lazy Susan, and my roast beef with gravy was easily Hatz Approved. Have you been? Tell us your favorite thing there.

Christmas is already out at Lowe's, and Halloween is still out!

Shop along with us through the Rudolph display, the "as seen on social" bins and the lighting aisle at the Beechmont Lowe's in Cincinnati.

Tried the patty melt meal at Kings Island in Mason with Ronnie Doe. Two patties, onion, cheese and Thousand Island, and they load you up on onion rings (you can ask for half fries, half rings).

The bread ran a little over crispy, but it's still a Hatz approved Kings Island meal. We filmed this in July, so check the menu before you go.
