Our second exciting announcement for the month- we have officially accepted an apprentice and we are so thrilled to introduce to you, Azyah!!

You’ll find her around the studio shadowing Vicki and Jesse as well as helping with jewelry at the counter. But keep your eyes peeled for apprentice rate services coming soon 👀✨

“Hi I’m Azyah! I’m joining the team here at Luminous and couldn’t be more grateful or excited! I’ve been in the industry for about 4 years now, learning all I can and gaining experience. Piercing is a huge passion of mine that I hold close to my heart. I knew long ago that this is what I wanted to do and I’ve strived for it since.

When I’m not in the studio, I like to make art, watch live music, spend time with friends, in general try new things, stay busy, and always try to have a good time.

1. Know what gold you like and don’t like on your skin tone!

2. Think about gemstones you’d be happy to match with everyday.

3. Lifestyle matters, be considerate of your day to day and if dangles, chains and charms will be a conflict for you.

4. Collect all the inspo! We love having visuals of what you enjoy so that we can meet you in the creative process rather than just build something we like.

5. Be open to suggestions on placement and piercings! Your anatomy is unique to you and what looks good on someone else might be slightly different on you. Let us help place things in a spot that compliments you best.
