Wrapped up this piece for Paint Memphis I always love participating in this festival. Meeting up with old friends, making new ones. My mural “Hugh and Me” (20’X12’) is about the AI boom we’re currently in showing that a robot is trying to find a human connection. Seeing its reflection in the street light he’s presenting flowers trying to make a friend. However the robot is radioactive and could actively kill its surroundings. Red Pandas are found in Asia. I wanted to add an organic element that reminds us that this is a global problem. It always warms my soul to be around so many like minded individuals working together under strained circumstances to bring our visions to life. It rained us all out one of the days and there was only 11 lifts to share for 50 artists so you have to work extra quick while up top because another artist is patiently waiting for their turn. WALL WARRIORS get it done!
