Last night we invited the haunt industry to the schoolhouse for our annual industry night. We cannot express enough, how amazing the haunted attraction industry is. Haunt workers from all over came out to see the show last night... we just wanted to say THANK YOU.

It means so much to see all the support! Our crew was honored to share a good scare before a busy October season hits. We wish all our fellow haunts an amazing fall. Please support your local haunts!
.. and Happy Halloween from all of us at The Dent Schoolhouse.

A real 1800s schoolhouse in Cincinnati sat quiet for decades before becoming one of the most talked about haunted attractions in the country. The Dent Schoolhouse operates inside that genuine former school building in the Dent neighborhood, which shut down as a school in 1950 and later housed businesses including a machine shop. That history is a big part of why the place works. Visitors move through actual classrooms, hallways, and a basement instead of a maze built from plywood, with sets styled around 1950s Americana and more than fifty costumed actors working the building each night.

The walkthrough runs from a fall festival entrance into first floor classrooms, Charlie's Basement, the Catacombs, Zobo's Backlot CarnEvil, Dr. Dent's Laboratory, and a greenhouse crawling with werewolves and spiders. Admission also includes the Monster Midway, with photo ops, a pumpkin showcase, a gift shop, an escape room, and an electric chair ride. Gentler options exist too, including lights on tours with no monsters, guided ghost tours, behind the scenes tours, and a glow stick only Lights Out experience.
