George A Christmas Fable - Production Team

Well after drama from Covid 19, life, Trump and all the other unpredictables... this project is finally finished. It started out as a desire to make a movie with some friends. Lesson learned. NEVER USE YOUR OWN MONEY TO MAKE A MOVIE. James Cameron be damned.... respect! This is not the movie I wrote. Covid prevented that totally. However, this movie is the one we were able to shoot. With the Ohio lockdown, the mantra was... how can we save this work with what we were able to shoot. It was depressing to say the least but Thanks to all of the great ACTORS that came to the set ready to go, I could not NOT finish the project. It would have been rude and disappointing for all. Also Thanks to the Production Crew and assistants for all of the support and hard work. Most importantly, my sincere gratitude to Abe Cheatham, for his original musical score for the project and to Michael and Sandy Bashaw for allowing me to use their original and covers of Christmas music from their commercial CDs. That wonderful music is what adds magic and sparkle to the scenes. That's the Magic of Movies.

Thanks everyone for helping make my dream real. It's been five years since I started writing the script, through this point in the processsssss... I have officially "abandoned " this project... a la George Lucas ( you don't finish these things... you just abandon them and move on)

My intention is to try and recoup my out of pocket using Youtube as my distributor for the movie. If anyone has an other possible revenue stream to exploit, I'm all ears.

Due to the presence of Covid and its variants... still.... I don't think it prudent to have a premiere since people from all over were involved and I don't want any repercussions from the gathering. Selfishly, I'm vaccinated and have NOT caught the virus. I intend to keep it that way, if possible.

My target audience is juveniles from the age of six to about 12.

If any creatives out there looking for original music for their work, thank about using Gerald Cheatham or Michael and Sandy Bashaw for scoring. They are fantastic musicians with different styles but have that magic element I call soul.... no, not the black style but the capture of the spirit of the moment... it's essence... it's soul, if you will. These musicians are accommodating and they deliver really compelling music. If you are interested, (I am not their manager) contact me and I will give you their email address.

I would like to express my appreciation to Raymond Davis, Jr. (George) and Douglas Weaver, Jr. (Junior) for their incredible youthful performances.

I've learned my lesson. I will stick to writing. It is easier to write about 1000 indigenous people coming over the rise than it is to cast and control all of that creative energy... and a hell of a lot cheaper.

I have a production, a product to sell, promote and get seen. The film distribution landscape has undergone an amazing transformation. Now there are many ways to get the work out there in front of an audience. I am going to try Youtube as a distribution outlet. With the right promotion maybe that will work.
Christmas '24 is fast approaching... so... later. I'll keep you posted.

all right, I'm getting serious. just got back from a road trip to pick up a hermann miller mirra2 office chair(sic). According to the internet, this chair is the best for a bad back, that's moi. The chair is fantastic... it's darn near mint. Reason I got it... there is going to be a lot of form filling out in the active promotion of this movie IMDB, grants, etc. so now, this man can sit on his keister, comfortably and take care of business. Making a trailer is a challenge I can't afford to blow. So YouTube and research on what makes a good trailer is next. I've see trailers that were better than the movie... one comes to mind..... "8 Mile". The trailer has to make you think... Man, I've got to check that flick out! I'm learning stuff, I never even thought about! I'm working on getting dangerous... but right, now I just feel a little surly and untoward.
