This past Saturday I had the pleasure of speaking at the University of Cincinnati's AACRC to Soul Palette's current C.A.N.V.A.S. cohort! It was a full-circle moment to open up about my journey, sharing both the highs and lows, and inspiring them to embrace resilience and celebrate their endeavors. Being transparent about my experiences felt liberating, and engaging with the next generation of artists who look like me contributes to my purpose, dispelling the loneliness often felt when representation is lacking. Most people don’t know this, but while at UC, my photography professor failed me twice. Having the opportunity to hold space for myself and others where I once faced setbacks, now feels surreal. It has taught me to embrace my current path with pride and determination as I journey forward! I'd like to express my gratitude and appreciation to Ms.Ewaniki and Brandon Hawkins for allowing me to share!

I'll be graduating with my certification in Project Management this Friday from the inaugural cohort of Black Women in Tech 🥳🥳🥳 I was able to talk about it in a radio interview with Tana Weingartner alongside Keturah Tatum, who is graduating from the Data Analytics program🎓

Black Women in Tech is a collaboration between the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio, the Brighton Center, the Community Action Agency, and the Gaskins Foundation, with support from JPMorgan Chase, Google, and the Workforce Innovation Center of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.
