Help Gamble Montessori Students Create with Clay
At Gamble Montessori High School in Cincinnati, our Visual Arts Department is growing—and so is our students’ passion for pottery! Right now, our ceramics studio has only five pottery wheels, which means students must wait their turn to create. Every day, the wheels are spinning nonstop as students learn patience, focus, and the joy of working with their hands.
Our goal is to add six more pottery wheels so every student can have more hands-on time at the wheel. With 11 wheels total, we can:
Give all art students the chance to throw clay and build skills
Support advanced ceramics projects and student exhibitions
Expand our community connection by hosting pottery workshops for families and neighbors
Gamble Montessori is a Title I public school, serving a wonderfully diverse community of students—many of whom have limited access to art experiences outside of school. Each pottery wheel costs about $1,000–$1,200, and every donation—no matter the size—brings us closer to giving these young artists the tools they need to succeed.
