"Tranquil"

This is one of the biggest canvases I painted til date, it's a 30"x48" canvas.
This painting was based on a photo taken by a photographer during his hike, the painting depicts maroon bells, Colarado with aspen trees during autumn.
Maroon bells are one of the most photographed places in the world. it is said that during autumn all the trees turn yellow at the same time giving it a beautiful contrast of colors against the harshness of mountains, this is one of things which I love the most about this picture.
The idea was to make something big, bold, colorful , beautiful painting, something to look at in our living room and feel the serenity.
It is one of the rare moment that I paint for myself and I am extremely proud of this painting. All I can say is the picture doesn't do justice to the texture of this painting .
