Hello Friends of Oktoberfest!
I have had many requests to volunteer at this year's "Preview" Oktoberfest at the Oklahoma State Fair. Since this one won't be at the scale of next year's Oktoberfest OKC at the OKC Fairgrounds we will not need volunteers yet. So this year just come and enjoy the event and experience "Gemutlichkeit"!

Good Morning Everyone!
It is official, there will be a full blown Oktoberfest staged at the Fairgrounds in Oktober of next year. In the meantime we will "Wet Your Whistle" with a smaller version this year at the Oklahoma State Fair https://okstatefair.com/ . It will be under a beautiful Blue and White Tent and will feature German Music, Food, Beer and Wine. Das ist Lustig https://www.prostyall.com/das-ist-lustig and Auf Geht's https://aufgehtsmusik.com/ will be there the first week and straight from Munich Germany the Band https://www.happy-hour-band.de/ will be there the second week! Friday May 5th at 10 am at Choctaw Creek Park near the kids playground will be the Mama Turek Tree Dedication! It is a Hardy Bald Cypress, very fitting don't you think? Christel Turek was a very hardy woman indeed! Hope to see you all there.
