When I created the Serenity Collection, I wasn’t just making blankets—I was creating pieces designed to bring comfort, warmth, and a little bit of beauty into everyday life.

Each blanket has its own personality, its own stitch pattern, and its own story, but together they make up a collection I’m incredibly proud of.

Oops… the yarn and instructions accidentally fell out of the bag and I just happened to have the correct size hook sitting right next to me… 😇🧶

So naturally, I just happened to test out the yarn… and yep — I still love it! 😂

Just a few stitches turned into “well maybe I’ll do one more row…” and now here we are. Crochet math strikes again! 🤦‍♀️💜

Meanwhile, I’m over here staring at the new kit like it’s the most exciting thing on earth. The struggle is REAL.

So tell me honestly… should I:

📦 New yarn kit delivery today… and ohhh this one is going to challenge me in the best way! 😍

Funny thing is, it’s the exact same kind and color of yarn I used for my Serenity blanket, so apparently I have a “type” when it comes to yarn. 😂🧶

Now the real challenge begins:
Can I stay loyal to my current project long enough to finish it before diving headfirst into this gorgeous new kit? 👀

Crocheters… you already know the struggle. New yarn has a way of whispering, “Start me instead.” 😅

Crochet math says if I buy more yarn while making a blanket, the blanket basically becomes free. I don’t make the rules. 😂

When you’re crocheting and make a mistake near the end of a row, do you:

A. Frog it immediately
B. Pretend you didn’t see it
C. Convince yourself it gives the piece “character”
D. Hope nobody notices 😂
