đź’–đź‘‘đź’–Pageant Parents & Contestantsđź’–đź‘‘đź’–
I have received numerous inquiries regarding the structure of the pageant and the activities planned for the participants. Below is an outline that provides additional information about each event.
We will begin with an introduction, where participants will share their name, age, hometown, and answer one additional question. Following this, they will participate in a personal interview. This will take place under the grandstands, where each participant will have a five-minute interview with the three judges. The interview will consist of further questions.
While participants are not in their interviews, we will conduct modeling practice. Once all interviews are completed, we will proceed to the modeling segment, which includes a walk along the runway. After the modeling portion, participants will deliver speeches, which will involve answering one final question in front of the audience and judges.
Throughout the afternoon, all questions will focus on the participants' preferences and opinions, rather than requiring specific correct answers. I hope this clarifies the process, and I am happy to answer any further questions you may have.
The above outlines the process for the Princess-Tiny Tot contestants. For the teen contestants, there are some key differences : they will take a written test that assesses their knowledge of horses, veterinary care, and rodeo topics. Additionally, their interview will last seven minutes instead of five. While their interview may include some knowledge-based questions—primarily related to the Bear Paw Roundup—the focus will largely be on personality questions.
This year, the speech component will also be slightly different. Teen contestants will select a topic from a list provided to them. For example, the theme might be clothing brand slogans, and they will receive 3-5 different slogans, such as "Long Live Cowboys." Contestants will then have 10 minutes to prepare a one-minute speech on their chosen slogan.
