Let's take a moment to celebrate and recognize the winner of the Crossword Cafe Scholarship this year, John Alexander!

John will be majoring in music education and this summer plans to continue performing with his band and working to save money for college. John says the Crossword Cafe has impacted him in many ways, but mostly how he interacts with people and follows God in his daily life.

We are so proud of you, John, and so blessed to be a part of your story. We continue praying for you on the journey God has set for your life!

We want to highlight and thank Bobby…our volunteer of the month!

Bobby has been helping us out for about a year. He’s always ready to jump in and help and we appreciate him always saying he loves us before he leaves! 🥰

His favorite purchase was a table for cars that he bought for his daughter. She plays with it every day!

His favorite thing about volunteering at Helping Hands is the way that the managers remind him of his mom ❤️‍🩹 (that’s a good thing!). He loves helping and giving back!
