This is so true! Take this into account when coming. The busy weekends are still just as fun, but sometimes a bit different! Fridays are always slower than Saturdays and the closer to Halloween, but golly the busier it gets. But THIS COMING WEEKEND, the weather looks GORGEOUS! So think about coming out NOW! Open Fridays and Saturdays of October! (Excluding Halloween)
Every year, the same thing happens: everyone waits until the busiest weekends in October, shows up at the same time, gets stuck in huge lines, gets rushed through with groups close together… and then says the haunt sucked.
If you’re planning to visit haunted attractions this season, GO NOW.
Go earlier in October. Go on Fridays. Go on Thursdays or Sundays if they’re open. Don’t automatically wait until the Saturday before Halloween.
You’ll usually have a better experience, shorter waits, and the haunt has a better chance to give you the experience they actually intended.
And yes, haunts still need to manage crowds well. But when thousands of people all decide to go on the exact same night, there’s only so much they can do.
What night do you usually go to haunts and have the best luck?
