🎳⚡ A LITTLE POWER OUTAGE CAN'T STOP THESE BOWLERS! ⚡🎳

We're well into today's Missouri USBC Senior Open & Women's Championships at Fast Lane, and apparently, even the electricity needed a quick break! 😂

Just long enough to shut everything down! But
our very own Assistant Manager Jeff Hale, along with Brunswick Tech Support, came to the rescue and got those lanes rolling again! 🙌

The power may have gone out, but the competition is still going STRONG! 💪🏼 🎳

We've met some absolutely wonderful bowlers, shared plenty of laughs, and couldn't be happier to have everyone here in Chillicothe!

❤️ A HUGE thank-you to all our bowlers for rolling with the unexpected! Your patience, sportsmanship, and good humor make hosting this tournament so much fun!

Now, back to what you came for… STRIKES, SPARES & BRAGGING RIGHTS! 🏆🔥

❤️🕊️ Today’s Missouri USBC Senior Open & Women’s Championships carries a little more love—and a lot of heartache and tears.

Sisters Karen Thomas and Sheryl Whiteman-O'Dell always bowled this tournament together, wherever it took them. Following Karen’s unexpected passing, today is a difficult day to face without her.

Lynda Berry stepped up to bowl in Karen’s place, making sure Sheryl wouldn’t have to face it alone. Because that’s what our Fast Lane bowling family does—we show up for each other, especially when words aren’t enough. ❤️

We know Karen wouldn’t have wanted her sister to miss the tournament they loved sharing. Today, we carry her memory with us through every frame.

This one’s for you, Karen. Forever loved. Forever part of our Fast Lane family. You are tremendously missed. 🎳❤️🕊️

🕊️ ❤️ Once part of our bowling family, always part of our hearts.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Karen Sue Thomas. 💔

Karen and her sister, Sheryl, were familiar faces at Fast Lane, bowling in Trailblazer League and tournaments and bringing their nieces and nephews along to share their love of the game.

Those moments together are what make Fast Lane more than a place to bowl—they make it a family. Karen will be dearly missed and warmly remembered.

With love from all of us at Fast Lane, our hearts are with Sheryl and everyone who knew and loved Karen. 💙

Please join us in honoring her memory by reading her obituary below.
