We had a fantastic time celebrating our 2025-2026 theatrical season at our awards banquet tonight. We also were able to celebrate a few of our seniors and can't say enough about how proud of them we are and excited for their futures.

IT IS OFFICIAL! We get to perform at ITF!

Men to the Left! Women to the Right! Written by Matthew D Harper and Directed by Amanda Betz has been selected to represent the State of Ohio at the International Thespian Festival in the Chapter Select Showcase. The one act was adjudicated and received superior marks . The official announcement was made at the Ohio Thespian Festival this past weekend.
CHS Troupe 3170 is proud to represent Ohio and thankful to Ohio Thespians and ITF for this amazing opportunity!

ITF's Chapter Select One-Act Showcase features simply staged one-acts that celebrate storytelling and highlight outstanding student performances from International Thespian Society chapters around the country and world. The showcase includes a robust lineup of short performances including one-acts, cuttings from full-length productions, reader's theatre, dance, mime, comedy, drama, and more!

One of the most exciting parts of this production has been the young leadership team.
Our music direction is led by senior Jacey Stephens, whose dedication and musicianship helped our cast find their voices and bring Phil Collins’ unforgettable score to life. Noah McAdams served as lighting designer and student technical director, helping shape the visual storytelling and keep the many moving parts of our jungle running smoothly.
Movement in this show required a fearless spirit as well, and our student choreographers, Meredith Tilberry and Eyana Nash, helped the cast find the rhythm of the jungle with creativity and energy. We are also grateful for the thoughtful leadership of student director Sophia McAdams, who helped guide the storytelling and support our performers every step of the way. Their work reminds us that the next generation of theatre makers is already climbing strong.
