We want to first start by acknowledging the overall success of this year’s event. Every year we’re amazed by both the car count and number of fans who support this event. But 170+ entries and approximately a 5 hour window to get the event in certainly comes with its challenges.
Our goal every year is to treat everyone as fairly as possible. One of our greatest challenges is hand scoring this event. With that being said after rewatching the 4x4 feature event we made multiple mistakes. We want to congratulate Cam Houser as the winner of the 4x4 feature and also congratulate Lee Morehart on running a great race.
Lee will keep his full winnings and Cam was presented his feature winning check and has been offered the $700 difference between 1st & 2nd place. Our apologies to both individuals affected by this that we didn’t get it right on Friday night. We will continue to work to make adjustments that can help us learn from this experience for future events.
