📣 Friends and Neighbors of the Springfield Township North Precinct
Following the Ross County Fair, I will begin collecting signatures throughout the Springfield Township North Precinct for a local-option ballot petition for Bronze & Bars Spirits, a proposed veteran-owned distillery located at:
📍 2508 Dry Run Road, Chillicothe, Ohio
The local-option petition concerns the following permits:
🥃 A-3a Permit — Allows the production and authorized sale of spirituous liquor as a small distillery.
🍺🍷🥃 A-1-A Permit — Allows an eligible manufacturer to operate a tasting room or restaurant and sell beer and other alcoholic beverages by the individual drink for on-premises consumption.
📅 D-6 Permit — Authorizes Sunday sales under the applicable liquor permits.
The local-option vote would allow us to apply for these permits. It would not automatically issue the permits or eliminate any state licensing requirements.
After the fair, we will be traveling throughout the precinct to collect signatures from residents who are willing to help us place this issue before local voters. If you are willing to sign, please message me, and we will arrange a convenient time to stop by.
To be eligible to sign the petition, you must be a registered voter who lives in the Springfield Township North Precinct—the precinct that votes at the Springfield Township Firehouse on Marietta Road.
If you are not registered to vote, I will also have voter-registration forms available for you to complete. I will personally deliver the completed forms to the Ross County Board of Elections.
Your signature helps place the issue before local voters; it does not obligate you to support it on Election Day.
