The Aladdin Shrine Circus is proud to sponsor a free admission day on Friday, March 23, 2018, for the 11:00am show at The Ohio State Fairgrounds Celeste Center. Annual Ross County Shrine trip to the Aladdin Shrine Circus: In March, our Shriners es**rt local special needs and disadvantaged children to the Ohio State Fair Grounds for the Annual Aladdin Shrine Circus. For many of these children, it
is the first time that they have been to Columbus, Ohio, and the first “event” that they have attended. The children are treated to the Circus free of charge (paid for by the Shrine) and bestowed glow sticks as well as snacks for the bus ride up. We are proud to say that we were able to break the record for Ross County's attendance at the 2016 Aladdin Shrine Circus. We es**rted 610 children/chaperones from Ross County schools and paid for the bus expenses for six schools in Ross County. We also welcomed the addition of First Capital Enterprises for the Circus trip in 2016. We also gave out glow necklaces, which the kids were in awe of, as many of them had never had one. As many of their teachers have told us, it is all the children talk about the entire year. In 2016, we had a total of 610 students and teachers that were able to enjoy the Circus with us. We were able to pay for the buses, snacks and glow necklaces for the children that have now become quite the staple for the kids to look forward to each year.
