Good morning everyone! I haven’t done this in awhile and I realize while a lot of you know me or have been tattooed by me throughout the years, there’s hundreds of people who follow me and have never put a face to my name.

I’m Jared—I’m a Christian, husband, father, tattoo artist, former ICU nurse, outdoorsman, and owner of Critical Ink.

When I’m not tattooing, you’ll usually find me in the hunting woods, fishing the local Florida waters, exploring shipwreck history, or spending time with my family. I’m fascinated by lost treasure and the stories hidden beneath the ocean’s surface. That passion often finds its way into my artwork.

Tattooing isn’t just a job for me—it’s a craft. I love creating custom pieces that tell a story, honor a memory, or represent something meaningful to the person wearing it. I do it because I love everything about the process including seeing my awesome clients that continue to come back to support me. I’ve been doing this long enough that I’m tattooing daughters and sons that were babies when I started.

I’ve also battled chronic severe back pain for the last several years, which has taught me a lot about perseverance, patience, and showing up even when things aren’t easy. That same mindset carries into my work, my faith, and my family life.

Whether you’re looking for your first tattoo or your next big project, I’m grateful for every person who trusts me with their skin and their story.
