Brazlus was founded on April, the 8th, 2013, by a group of student enthusiasts of cross-cultural communication with the Portuguese speaking world. One of its main objectives is to promote the luso-Brazilian cultural experience on campus, in general. In particular, it aims at facilitating and strengthening bilingual, bicultural communication between CSU, Chico’s students and fellow ESL students fro

m educational settings, locally and overseas. If you are interested in learning how to get involved with Brazlus, has a few exciting ideas for projects related to the Luso-Brazilian culture and traditions (i.e. language circles, entertainment, the arts, dance, and music), please contact:

So the Brazlus booth at International Fest was a tremendous success. We won the best food award for the third consecutive year. Among our signature dishes we served chicken strogonoff, chicken pie, our famous brigadeiro and rice pudding. Thank you so much to all of those involved! A barraca da Brazlus foi um tremendo sucesso no Festival Internacional da Universidade de Chico. Ganhamos pelo terceiro ano consecutivo o prêmio de melhor culinária. Dentre os nossos pratos especiais foram servidos o estrogonofe de frango, torta salgada, brigadeiro e arroz doce. Obrigado a todos que participaram!

Hi everyone, I wanted to remind everyone that AS Elections are today through tomorrow online at as.csuchico.edu. Make
sure to vote for elected officers, the ballot initiative, and REVENUE SHARING! Through revenue sharing, voters may choose to allocate $15.00 of their Activity Fee to Brazlus. This revenue will certainly be use in activities for our members. Thank you and you have a great day!
