Name that rock!

This specimen is a form of Serpentine!
Serpentine comes in many forms and the chatoyancy in this piece is due to the fiborous crystal structures of asbestos. Very similar to tigers eye and pietersite!

This came from a gentleman's collection who recently retired that had some unique and old materials you just don't see anymore.

That collection of Cabochons are out along with our $10 strand table. Since we didn't have a winner, everyone wins all week and gets 33% off all stones!

We have fun themed science charms, beads, and activities all week!

Science and art go hand in hand! Discover this week some of the more sciency based workshops we offer with demos and mini workshops to play with the element copper!

See both the processes of plating and etching copper! From 4-6pm the electroforming station will be set up with demos along with stations for drawing your own designs in copper. Sign up to participate and create a project.

Come in and take your guess at how many atoms it takes to make a flask, that is how many atom charms! Each purchase will earn a free guess, or buy a guess for a dollar! Closest answer will win a free 3 hour workshop!!!

Take your best guess at our name that rock! Free to try and ID! Answer will be announced Saturday the 25th and all those who got it right will earn a special discount!
