🌿 Saturday mornings just got a whole lot cuter. 🌿

Have you heard about Nature Tots yet? This brand-new program at the Chico Creek Nature Center program is helping little explorers ages 1–5 connect with nature through animal visits, music, crafts, story time, and outdoor adventures made just for them.

The best part? You can jump in any Saturday this summer! ☀️ No need to wait for a new session to begin. Just pick a Saturday (or sign up weekly!) and come join the fun.

Nature Tots is the perfect mix of fun and fresh air, and it's quickly becoming a favorite family tradition for weekend adventure!

CARD's 4th of July parade is coming soon. 🌟

Join the Chico community for a patriotic parade in downtown Chico.

Kicking off at 9am sharp, this FREE festivity features floats, cars, bikes, and more!

Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to this celebration.

The fun continues afterward with a post-parade Plaza party featuring a live performance from the 191st Army Band out of Dublin. Concessions will also be available for purchase from Woodstocks and participating food trucks.

Join us at 9 AM on Jul 4 and show off your creativity with a float, bike, vehicle, or walking group. Bring the music, the decorations, the dancing, the red, white, and blue spirit…let’s celebrate America’s 250th Birthday in style.

Families, businesses, clubs, teams, and organizations: we want YOU in the parade!

Got plans tonight? You do now! 🌴✨ Pack up your floaties because Lilo & Stitch (2025) is hitting the big screen for CARD's Movies in the Pool at PV Pool tonight, Saturday, June 13!

Gates open at 7:30 PM, and the movie starts rolling as soon as the sun goes down. Tickets are $5; make sure to grab yours online before you head out!

Reminder: Inflatable floaties are highly encouraged, and snacks will be available for purchase! 🥤

Join us for CARD’s 3rd Annual 4th of July Parade, kicking off at 9 AM on Jul 4, and be part of a celebration 250 years in the making!

We're inviting individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to jump in and show off their creativity. Think decorated floats, bikes, vehicles, marching groups, music, dancing, and more. If it says “Happy Birthday, USA,” it belongs in this parade.

From classic cars to cheer teams, equestrian groups to community clubs, this is your moment to roll through downtown and celebrate alongside your neighbors.

✨ Save your spot: Entries are limited to the first 100 paid applications
