I am almost a non profit business. On Black Friday, I promised a lot of you presents. This is only true for those currently on my facebook friends list and for businesses. For the public, it will be on Wednesday, given out at our KICKSTART fundraiser.
77% of profits go toward improving Chico, and restoring it into what the past generation remember it. I would do the same for my hometown, which I
would eventually like to do. I am not from California, and I plan to expand. I will go to another big city as soon as the homeless population decreases. I have a suggestion jar for anyone that wants me to come and work in your town. My only collateral is that you pay for my vendor and business license which both is a little short of two hundred dollars to do. No, I do not have my vendors license yet. This isn't just to support local businesses in Chico. In 2015, there were over 1,000 homeless registered in shelters in Chico. I would say there is an amount of anywhere between 2-3 thousand coming this year in 2018. If you have enough to donate, 5 dollars every day a year would give us enough funds to get all of the homeless up off their feet in Butte County. This includes the funding from the weekly fundraisers. Three percent of the budget goes toward the owner, Jyl Strycker. I am the founder and owner of this business. I get three percent of my profits of whatever I make that day. My workers get ten. There will be tip jars for each individual person working from Black Friday on. Please show up, make a change donation to the gift wrapped mason jars, and once one gets filled up by everyone working, we will be coming back around to the bars for our tips. We will not ask, but I will say that this will get spent right away. Most of my workers are less fortunate. Technically, we are all working together to make Chico a better place. Please drop by.
