🌶️🔥 Watch Out, Chili Lovers! 🔥🌶️

One of the first competitors to sign up this year is none other than last year’s Judge's Choice champion, Lisa Rooks! 🏆💥

Lisa found Chilimauga on a Facebook group last year and decided to drive to the little town of Chickamauga and see if she had the winning chili!

Here is a little about Lisa.....

Lisa Rooks, the 2025 winner of Chilimauga, along with her husband Matt, formed the Serious Hog Cooking team over 10 years ago. In 2021, at her first chili comp, Lisa won the World Chili Championship Open. In the following years, she and Matt has competed in non-sanctioned, International Chili Society (ICS) and Chili Association Society International (CASI) competitions throughout the south. In March 2026 she won the Alabama CASI State Chili Championship.
