A fun little anecdote for you...

The lady from our show who gives Fritz the pears, is an actual real life person. Angeli, our playwright had a landlord with a pear tree in her backyard, hence our pear lady who is part of the resistance.

We the cast and crew of The Black Knight as well as Lifeboat productions, stand with the people of the Ukraine in the face of This horrible invasion of their country.

We also stand with those in Russia who oppose Putin and this war. We know you are there, speaking out, even if we can't hear you.

Putting on an understudy performance is always a huge undertaking, however this one was monumental.

Our female understudy is also our assistant stage manager, who is responsible for running our backstage and facilitating scene changes.

A bunch of our cast members help with other various things backstage, whether costume changes or scene changes. Having new people in all of these roles can be quite challenging, but this cast has worked seamlessly to make sure everything looks effortless.

We had a few of our cast members backstage helping and the rest were in the audience watching. Our managing director took over back stage as the assistant stage manager.

Thank you to everyone who made this production possible and to the huge audience we had tonight.
