Pretorius Studio Pretorius Studio has been producing exceptional decorative finishes and murals since 1995. Based in Chicago, our projects take us across the country and abroad.

Studio Process - Samples and mockups we developed for the domed ceiling in the lobby of the Chicago Intercontinental Hotel. Working with warm silver glazes, metal leaf and textured plaster, these are concepts we presented to the design team at KTGY. The dome is more than 40 feet in diameter and 40 feet above the floor, so some drama is in order!
