A fisherman spotted her just east of the Faralon Islands (outside the Golden Gate) and radioed for help. Within a few hours, the rescue team arrived and determined that she was so badly off, the only way to save her was to dive in and untangle her…. a very dangerous proposition. One slap of the tail could kill a rescuer.
They worked for hours with curved knives and eventually freed her. When she was free, the divers say she swam in what seemed like joyous circles. She then came back to each and every diver, one at a time, nudged them, and pushed gently, thanking them. Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their lives.
The guy who cut the rope out of her mouth says her eye was following him the whole time, and he will never be the same.
May you be so fortunate to be surrounded by people who will help you get untangled from the things that are binding you.
And, may you always know the joy of giving and receiving gratitude 🙏

The Greenhouse is committed to the health and safety of our artists, patrons and staff. With the growing concerns related to COVID-19, we have established new guidelines to help you feel safe and comfortable in our theater.

At this moment our historically based hit plays JUDY & LIZA and TEDDY
ROOSEVELT: THE MAN IN THE ARENA will continue their runs until April.

The following shows have cancelled their runs:

The Comrades Midwest Premier of THE LAYOVER
MPAACT's World Premier of PULLED PUNCHES
BeFLYCreate's Production of THE ENCHANTED BOOKSHOP

Patrons who feel ill should not attend performances. We are offering exchanges to other performances. Please call the Box Office at (773) 404-7336 and we will happily assist you in exchanging your tickets. If you cannot attend at all or if your show has been cancelled, we are asking that you consider donating your ticket rather than a refund. The Box Office is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.

We have also implemented expanded cleaning protocols to ensure the safety of everyone. Twice a day we are disinfecting all theater spaces, the Box Office, the Bar, all restrooms & lobbies. We are not reusing any programs & asking patrons to pick up their own programs as they enter the theater instead of being handed one by an usher. Staff will be wearing gloves while handling tickets/drinks/etc. And we have plenty of hand soap, towels, and hand sanitizer.

We are also no longer accepting donations to the Trellis Bookstore until further notice.

We are monitoring this situation very carefully and will continue to update this website as information develops. We will evaluate on a day-to-day basis whether performances will proceed based on the most up-to-date information from the government and public health experts.

At this moment, we are proceeding as scheduled.

Thank You, GTC Management

Gigi Luban!!! The first time I read THIN MINTS I thought, “I love it, but where am I gonna find someone to play Molly?” Then I met Gigi while working on X at Sideshow Theatre and knew I found my Molly. Gigi and mom Melonie Collmann have been incredible to work with and can’t wait until y’all see it!! PS - just because there is a child in THIN MINTS does NOT mean THIN MINTS is for children.

Learn more about Gigi below and be sure to get your tickets to THIN MINTS (A Workshop Production) today!! Link in bio.
“Gigi Luban (Molly) is thrilled to be a part of Thin Mints! She recently was the “Voice” understudy in “X” with Sideshow Theatre. Gigi loves to sing, dance, play the violin and has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She can be seen in commercials and industrials. Gigi thanks her Big Mouth Talent team as well as her family for all their love and support.”
