Do you care about the topic of Art Architecture, and Culture?

On Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 from 5-9PM, the Illinois Institute of Technology College of Architecture (IIT), the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship, and En Mi Cuadra Pilsen La Cultura Vive will host a conversation in Hermann Hall.

The goal of the roundtable is to capture the conversation around community murals, development, and architecture among leaders in these areas. This discussion among panelists will inform our research regarding the development of Pilsen and how murals reflect the neighborhood development. Overall, this project looks at murals as a reflection of the events, people, and history of Pilsen and we consider that the current discourse around these topics will inform our view of the overall development of Pilsen since its inception; in other words to give us a more complete understanding of the development of Pilsen throughout history till today.
