Senior Spotlight!
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Jacob!

Jacob recently graduated from St. Edward High School and has been dancing for nine years, studying styles including tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and musical theater.

Throughout his time in dance, Jacob has grown not only as a dancer, but also as an artist and performer.

In musical theater, some of his favorite roles include Damian in Mean Girls, Prince Oliver in Between the Lines, Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Finch in Newsies, and his musical theater debut as Young Will in Big Fish.

These experiences have helped shape his love for performing on stage. Most recently, Jacob was one of six nominees for “Best Actor” at the 2026 Dazzle Awards!

This fall, Jacob will attend Savannah College of Art and Design to major in acting. He hopes to continue dancing while pursuing double minors in both musical theater and dance.

Jacob would like to thank Heidi for her guidance and inspiration, as well as all of his dance partners for the memories and support along the way.

A special thank you goes to his mom for her constant encouragement and love.

Senior Spotlight!
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Emma!

Emma Maiure has been dancing for 12 years and has been involved in musical theatre for the past 5. Some of her favorite roles include Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Annie in The Play That Goes Wrong, and her debut as Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes at Bay High School.

She is graduating from Bay High School and attending Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Emma would like to thank her family for always showing up and being her biggest supporters, especially when things got tough.

She would also like to thank Heidi for being the most inspiring, uplifting teacher.
Emma’s journey with both dance and music theatre has been greatly impacted not only by her teaching, but by her passion for performance and words of wisdom.

The memories made during this chapter of her life are unforgettable and will stay with her forever.

Dance has taught Emma to be confident and comfortable in who she is, and how to share that energy with those around her. She would not be the person she is today without dance and musical theatre.

Congratulations to Aislyn on a wonderful performance season! I’m especially excited to celebrate her tap accomplishments since I had the honor of choreographing her solo this year for .

Aislyn and I worked together weekly since August and I’ve been so impressed by the growth she’s shown, not only in her tap technique, but in her confidence, musicality, and ability to connect with an audience. This girl is a performer!

At a few weeks ago, Aislyn received the Title Winner award for artistry, star quality, and stage presence among 54 contestants!! This recognition means so much because it reflects the heart of who she is on stage and the performance quality I emphasize when I work with dancers!

I couldn’t be more proud of the performer she is becoming, and I’m excited to see what’s ahead for her!

A huge shout out to Aislyn’s mom, , for all the time and attention she gave to the costuming! 🫶
