Latino Filmmakers from around the world! You can still take advantage of our Early Deadline film submission fees before they go up tomorrow. We are eager to see your short and feature films. We are looking for all genres including comedy, drama, thrillers, documentaries, science-fiction, horror and animation.

Congratulations to the team behind MELODRAMA, an official selection of the 42nd Chicago Latino Film Festival, for being selected to represent the Dominican Republic as its official entry to the 99th Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film.
We were proud to present Andres Farías' first film, CANDELA, at the 38th edition of the Festival, which marked our partial return to the theaters post-COVID pandemic.

As we begin to make plans for the 43rd Chicago Latino Film Festival, meet the leadership helping make next year’s Festival possible. 🎬✨

Sandra Bernal A. and Alejandro A. Riera, long-standing members of the Chicago Latino Film Festival team, are stepping into new expanded roles with the Festival.

Sandra will serve as Artistic & Operations Director, overseeing Festival operations, filmmaker relations, programming committees, and hospitality and ticketing teams.

Alejandro will serve as Publicity & Programming Manager, leading Festival publicity, communications, content, and contributing to feature film selection and scheduling.

Working alongside them is ILCC Executive Director Mateo Mulcahy, who will serve as the overall administrator of the Festival, overseeing staff, sponsorship, finances, and marketing, while also contributing to programming.
